CL1 - Beijing & Great Wall Highlights

One of the most famous sections of the Great Wall is at Mutianyu. Have your choice of cable car or chair lift, and spend a leisurely couple of hours hiking and exploring the Watch Towers. Marvel at the construction and beauty of the legendary Wall. Then take an exhilarating toboggan ride back down or simply return the way you came. Eat a typical dish of barbecue Rainbow Trout with an assortment of other authentic and delicious Chinese dishes.

Visit Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Explore the sites around the square. Venture northward to the Tiananmen Rostrum guarded by the enormous and portrait of Mao. Then, the magnificent Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world. Spend a couple of hours wandering around this amazing example of Imperial architecture and learning about the history of the palace.

CL2 - Great Wall + Summer Palace

Visit the Mutianyu section of the great wall, and the Summer Palace, a summer resort for Imperial Family Members, which is considered the best preserved Imperial Park. Then, drive to the Olympic Stadium and visit the the unique architecture of the "Bird Nest" and "Water Cube".

CL3 - Tian'ammen, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven.

Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Have a Xinjiang (Muslim) Style lunch. Xinjiang food includes lamb kabobs and is normally served by the Uiger minorities with hand-made noodles.
Then visit Temple of Heaven, the largest Imperial place of worship from ancient times. This special place becomes a park where the local community utilizes this beautiful and enormous space for social activities such as singing, dancing, and Taiji practice.
(Optional: You may choose to include a Perking Roast Duck Dinner and the Gongfu Performance at the Red Theatre, or enjoy a wonderful Acrobatic Show at Chaoyang Theatre.)

CL4 - Forbidden Tian'anmen

Visit the famous Tian'anmen square and the forbidden city in one afternoon.

CL5 - 798 Art District

A fervor of contemporary art, creativity, and connoisseurs’ paradise, with many artists commanding high prices on the international market. Artists from around the world display their works here. Even if you aren't an art lover, it is definitely worth a look.

CL6 - Heavenly Hutongs

Visit the Temple of Heaven and Hutongs at the old residential area.
